low tension hood struts kit in the works

i'm making a low tension hood strut kit for aftermarket fbg and cf hoods. stainless steel custom brackets with 38lb struts. waiting on a shipment of parts. 3sx uses 60lb struts which are imo, too strong. they also sell them for $100 + ridiculous shipping.

    i'm projecting a cost of $85 shipped, $80 shipped for norcal3s members.

Are you still making these hood struts? Do they work well with the Deft 575 without causing it to flex when closed?

    Thanks for your time.

Hmmm, my hood does this, one one side worse than the other. I always assumed it was the bodyshop that put the hood on's fault, as they didn't pay much attention to detail (and don't get me started the loud wind noise I've put up with for years ever since). Maybe my 3SX hood struts are part of the problem, if these are available I may pick up a set too...
