clutch slave cylinder?

Post clutch slave cylinder?
my clutch pedal has no pressure
clutch wont engage with the pedal depressed to the floor

bad clutch slave cylinder?
or master?

idk whats the diffrence :S

Does it sink the the floor and stay there? Seals can go bad in either and cause the same problem.

Is there fluid in the master?
If there's a leak in the line you can get the same problems also.

heres another thing you can check if you have a helper,somebody push the pedal while the other watches the slave cylinder/clutch lever for movement. It should travel what about 3/4 of an inch guys?

This type of deal happened to my DSM awhile ago. The Slave Cylinder was out. I was contemplating on spending $50 on buying a brand new slave cylinder but the rebuild kit was for $13 at autozone. I'm not sure how difficult it could be on a 3S but it wasn't so hard on an Eclipse.

slave is easy, 20 mins maybe, master was a little more difficult.

Definitely get the OEM slave kit from Cherry Hill. There's a thread on 3SI discussing how weak the seals are on the aftermarket ones and how many times they had to be replaced.
